Airborne BMX revolves around freestyle biking as the most important element of the gameplay. It is not only about reaching the finish line, since the player should accomplish stunt tasks on the way through the course that will include ramps, gaps, and difficult elements. Success in the game requires understanding of the moments of acceleration and jump as well as skillful bike control in the air.

Each flight lasts several seconds, so each move counts. Before the ramp, use the Spacebar to gain speed and press the key once again for a jump. When you are in the air, left and right arrows allow you to do flips, and WASD buttons - regular BMX tricks. Pressing Shift together with the WASD combination allows performing the advanced tricks.
There is no sense in doing a lot of tricks if your bike falls apart after landing. Watch out for the rotation and start preparing for the landing while there is still some time to do.
Airborne BMX features six worlds with lots of different courses and tasks. You will have some leeway with early tasks to get used to the controls, but further progression will require more precision. Finishing tasks from each course will allow you to proceed through the game and get better medal scores.
Progression involves a set of 15 characters and 15 BMX bikes that you can choose to go through the large list of challenges provided by the game. Colorful graphics and fluid animations also make it easy to understand all the tricks performed by your character, who flies and spins across the courses.
Making mistakes is normal when learning. If you do not pass a test, go back to the training and find out where your timing was off. You can try increasing the speed at which you throw yourself, or change the order of the tricks, or start preparing for the landing sooner.
